Refund Policy

ubu is sold on the Mac App Store, and refunds are handled there by Apple. If ubu is not for you, Fluxscale Limited will also help you get it sorted — just get in touch.

1. How to ask for a refund

Because your purchase was made through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the refund. The quickest way is Apple’s own refund page:

  • reportaproblem.apple.com — sign in with the Apple ID you used, find the ubu purchase and choose “Request a refund”;
  • or email us at support@fluxscale.com with your Apple ID receipt and we will point you to the right place and help you make the request.

Apple reviews refund requests under its own terms and returns approved refunds to your original payment method.

2. Our promise

If you are within 30 days of being charged and ubu is not for you, email us and we will do what we can to make it right, including helping you secure a full refund from Apple.

3. Cancelling a subscription

Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you have already paid for. You keep access until the end of that period. You can cancel any time from your Apple ID subscription settings.

4. What happens after a refund

Once Apple approves a refund, your access to ubu ends in line with Apple’s App Store terms. You can get ubu again later if you change your mind.

5. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects rights you have under consumer law — for example where the app is faulty or not as described. Where those rights give you more than Apple’s process, they apply.
